Location and Local Attractions
The Nikmar development is located next to the ring road that goes around Bansko to the gondola. The distance to the center is 15 minutes walking and 25 minutes walking to the Gondola station. This busy mountain town is regarded as one of the most popular Eastern European ski resorts with new ski facilities. The benefit of buying in a town such as Bansko is that there are things to do all year round; the resort is not closed in summer but bars, restaurants and hotels stay open all year. Not only that but two major golf courses are being built outside Bansko so not only will the town be a mecca for skiiers but also golfers. Another benefit of buying in Bansko is that the Greek border is only 50kms away so day trips to Greece and its coastline are feasible. The Pirin National Park is at the doorstep of Bansko and with its wide of unique flora and fauna and moderate summer climate, is an ideal place for summer hiking excursions, bike riding, horse riding and mountain climbing.
