Description of Property Charming old historic property in beautiful village near Lake Iskar! This is a prime example of a historic Bulgarian property from the 19th Century and they are increasingly hard to find. The village has become very popular with British holiday home owners and investors due to the spectacular scenery and the all round usage and a such, this propery is excellent value for money. Accommodation totals 110m2 and each floor is 55m2 in size. The accommodation is as follows; on the ground floor there are two rooms which were used for storage. The ground floor is accessed through a separate entrance which can be found to the right of the property on the front. The first floor has the main living area and it consists of three rooms and a corridor. The property does require renovation in order to bring it up to Western standards but it does have bags of potential. The plot is a typical size of 503m2 and mains water and electricity are connected. A septic tank does need to be installed in the property. A nice feature is that a small stream flows close by. There is a small strip of land that separates the property from the road and having checked, this belongs to the local council. Property is from what we know, permitted to be accessed over this strip of land. Location and Local Attractions Located in a highly picturesque village with good access to Lake Iskar, it is no wonder it is such a popular place to own a holiday home. As mentioned previously, British home owners are targetting this village due ot the excellent all year round facilities on offer. Bulgaria's largest inland lake, Lake Iskar, is just 2kms away and here you can fish, swim or hire boats to go out on the lake. The lake is immense and the scenery is just stunning. It really does give the area the ideal all year round usage. For winter time, one of Bulgaria's best ski resorts, Borovets, is just 23kms away and with a lengthy ski season, it is one of the best places to go skiing in Eastern Europe. While the village does have the basic amenities and the property benefits from being close to the centre, Samokov town which is just 13kms away does provide everything. Great value shopping can be done and doctors along with a hospital are also there.
