Hristo Stoitchkov, the coach of the Bulgarian national football team and an honorary citizen of the mountainous ski resort town Bansko, launched on Saturday the summer season in the town.
The world-renowned footballer presented a project for the modernization of the Basko stadium. The project is worth EUR 12 M and is to be ready in two years.
The filed has been projected with the assistance of Stoitchkov, whereas Olympic high-jump medallists Stefka Kostadinova prepared the athletics track.
