Bulgarian construction company Balkanstroy has earned a First Class Investor certificate for a development in the Pirin mountain.
The company will invest 120 mln levs in the Pirin Golf&Country Club located between Razlog and ski resort Bansko.
The 100 ha development, due for completion by early 2010, will feature a spa hotel, bungalows, commercial and sports centers and an equestrian club.
The company has submitted to the competent authorities an environmental impact study and the masterplan for the development. All relevant permits should be granted by the end of the year.
The Pirin Golf&Country Club golf course will stretch in the direction of another golf resort near Razlog, also being developed by Balkanstroy, which should be ready in 2008. The two courses will have a combined 36 holes allowing for the staging of bigger tournaments.
Balkanstroy has also been granted First Class Investor certificates for its ski and golf complex near Razlog. The 240 mln lev complex, located in the Kulinoto area, should be ready in 3 years.
The golf course and ski center projects of the company will absorb some 500 mln levs over the next 3 years. (Dnevnik)
